Hello Beardos! Hope everyone had a great week so far and is ready for the weekend. As I told everyone last post some of our fellow beardos, including myself, had gone to Las Vegas for the 2012 3rd Annual National Beard and Mustache Competition. Jim Downing won 2nd Place in the Hungarian Mustache Category, and Bill Peterson made it to the final round of the Garibaldi Category. We all had a hair raising of a time and photos and video will soon be uploaded asap. 2013’s competition will be in New Orleans, LA so lets get started on next years competition shall we :p. *click image for facebook page*
Now on to our activity news. We have alot going on this month, so here is everything in order:
Nov. 21st Battle of the Beards at the South and Walnut Bar & Grill. Wild Turkey Wednesday! Contest starts @ 6pm, free entry with a Toys For Tots Donation. Bring your epic beards to the competition & battle for prizes.
Nov 22nd Join the Beardos on Thanksgiving morning as we hit the pavement
in the 18th annual Turkey Trot. 5k starts at 8am and we will meet,
starting at 7:30 on the front lawn of Kentwood Hall.

Race benefits Developmental Center Of the Ozarks! Also, bring 3 canned goods to the Ozarks Food Harvest truck as this is one of their biggest food drives of the year!

Nov. 30th RAISE AWARENESS FOR PROSTATE CANCER RESEARCH
Free Beer provided by Mother’s Brewing Company, Live Music, Epic ‘Staches and Good Times!
Starts at 7pm ends at 10pm. There will be prizes and shirts for best costume, etc. Hosted By: 5 Pound Apparel, Rockabilly Rub and Queen City Beard and Mustache Federation
